  21. I think it was jeric@access.com who was bothered with it, here is my proposal:

  23. Build the rectangular wire, straight along the z axis. Twist it where and how you 
  24. like. Save it. 
  25.  
  26. Build a spline describing the complex curve and rail extrude a simple disk along the 
  27. curve. This is to create a reference object.
  28.  
  29. In Layout, load the wire and the reference. Add bones as needed to the wire (very easy 
  30. with the '=' key (add child bone)) and deform it according to the reference object. 
  31. Pay close attention to the two ends so the would match up as much as possible. Save 
  32. transformed.

  34. Back in Modeler, attach the ends of the wire manually.
